Jitterbug the Label is sexy, tailored and timelessly stylish. Throwing trends in the garbage, Jitterbug instead delivers long-wear wardrobe staples that have a point of view. Jitterbug believes in accessible fashion for all sizes.

Jitterbug is a one woman show and all designed by me, Ash! From sketch to pattern to production your clothes are made in a little studio in Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia. I have 15 years experience making clothes and am a tailor by trade.

In order to abolish fast fashion (one of the cruelest and planet harming industries), we need to back small business and relearn the love of handmade, slow fashion. This means, the clothes take a bit longer to make but in turn you'll have them for longer and love them even more.

Wherever possible I make conscious choices in fabric, design and energy to be planet conscious prioritising recycled fabrics, planet safe dyes and minimising waste. I pledge to consistently learn and grow with what is best for the planet and hope you will too!

The studio I work in is on land owned by the Yuggera/Turrbal people and I acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. From the river to the sea, always was and always will be.
